Once we've made it official, and selected a week that works for both of us, I'll send you a link to our Basecamp folder (project management software).
We'll also pick a date and time to review the template you've selected so we can hide any of the areas you don't necessarily need for your site. This will be very helpful for when you work with your copywriter and image curator.

Part of your homework includes gathering all your copy into one document, clearly stating headers, subheads, body copy, title tags and meta descriptions, and any testimonials or pull quotes. You'll also need to collect all your images into one folder and organize them as directed. It may seem extreme but you'll thank me later!
Assignments are sent shortly after you book (signed contract and paid retainer) and are due back the 12 noon EST on the Monday prior to the start of your Website in a Week. Ex: If your website starts Monday the 8th, homework is due Monday the 1st.

The day after your homework is due, we will hop on a call and I'll make a list of anything that is still missing that I need access to. I'll also start to plug in your fonts and brand colors so you can see the first glimpse of the template you've chosen start to come to life!
Our kick-off call will be the Tuesday before your Week begins which happens to be the day after all the files and images are due. Calls are scheduled for 10am Eastern but will accommodate for other time zones if needed.

Aaaand we're off! I'll work page by page, focusing on both the desktop and mobile versions of your site.
I'm not a mind reader so there are times when I will likely reach out with a few questions here and there.
You'll need to be available by phone, text, or email but nothing as intense as a VIP Day.

Bring on the bubbly! By 12 noon Eastern on the following Monday, you'll have your website ready to go live! Let's get all that traffic in!
If you need help with your domain name change or other technical aspects, I am happy to help. Just keep in mind I am pretty savvy but not an IT guru so I may need to reach out to Showit, Squarespace, or your domain host to help if I'm not able to figure it out. I ask that you be patient as I can't control their response times.
